CTC: INR 7.20 LPA-9.20 LPA (Depending on the relevant experience)

Position Overview:

The Manager for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Agriculture will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing CSR initiatives related to agriculture within the company. This role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders, external partners, and local communities to create and execute sustainable agriculture programs that align with the company's CSR objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agriculture, sustainable development, and stakeholder engagement.

The Role and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement CSR strategies and initiatives focused on agriculture to support the company's sustainability goals.
  • Identify opportunities for partnerships and collaborations with relevant stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, farmers' associations, and research institutions.
  • Lead the planning and execution of agriculture-related projects, ensuring alignment with CSR objectives, timelines, and budgets.
  • Conduct research and analysis to assess the social, environmental, and economic impact of agriculture initiatives, and use findings to improve program effectiveness.
  • Work closely with internal teams, such as operations, procurement, and marketing, to integrate sustainable agriculture practices into business operations.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with local communities and farming groups, fostering trust and cooperation to drive positive change.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of CSR programs, collecting data and feedback to measure impact and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other communications materials to communicate CSR activities and outcomes to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory developments related to CSR and sustainable agriculture, and incorporate relevant insights into program design and implementation.
  • Represent the company in meetings, conferences, and other forums related to CSR and agriculture, advocating for sustainable practices and sharing knowledge and experiences.
  • Technical report writing, SDGs alignment, benchmarking, client interactions and presenting reports to the top management of companies
  • Strengthening of Self-Help Groups (SHGs), Farmers' Groups, Formation of Federations and Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs)
  • Livelihood Skills Training for Landless and Marginalized Farmers, Youth Skill Training, Support to SHGs and Vulnerable Households for Economic Development.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Master's degree in agriculture, environmental science, sustainability, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience more than 3 years in CSR, sustainable development, or similar roles, with a specific focus on agriculture.
  • Profound understanding of agricultural systems, practices, and challenges, particularly within [insert relevant region or industry].
  • Proven track record in developing and managing CSR programs, encompassing project planning, stakeholder engagement, and impact assessment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of effectively engaging and influencing diverse stakeholders across internal and external domains.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of devising innovative solutions to complex challenges.
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines within a dynamic environment.
  • Genuine passion for sustainability and corporate social responsibility, coupled with a dedication to effecting positive societal and environmental change.
